Certain reviews highlight that opening kitchen hours could accommodate diners who arrive later in the evening.
Been wanting to visit this place for awhile, as I live overseas now but miss growing up in the Pacific Northwest. At first the place seemed very "local" and I felt a bit out of place, but the waitress was pleasant and even brought me binoculars to enjoy the beautiful view sitting outside on the gorgeous sunny day. The food came quick and was delicious. Fried oysters just like my mom used to make! Plump and flavorful. And whoever made the coleslaw deserves an award. It was perfection. Not too sweet like a lot of places make it. I could eat a bowl of it. Simply fantastic. I even got my Geoduck "Size Does Matter" stickers! This place will be on my regular rotation when I come 'home' for sure. A very pleasant surprise. Thank you so much for a lovely stop!
Halloween party was really fun! Can't rate the food as they close the kitchen at 8 pm. Will stop by again and update the review. Hood canal location has been there for years. Live music on weekends nights. Park in front or along highway.
Great find to watch Mariner's game while I wss out camping in Brinnon. Nrt a fantastic server named Tammy was friendly and offered great service and drinks to the entire room. ALL the Food being served around the bar looked great and there was a fantastic mix of local patrons and tourists. Great outside patio with binoculars for viewing seals and other wildlife. Portions looked large (I ordered fries and they arrived hot and crispy and basket was enough to share!) Guys next to me ordered oyster shooters and chicken strips. Burgers being served looked great too! Suitable restaurant area away from bar for families. Prices for food and drinks was very reasonable.
I loved the place! Great food selection, even for picky eaters. I’ve had an amazing tuna salad and my hubby had a huge burger and onion rings. The portions were enormous, I couldn’t finish it. There was a lot of bikers when we were there, the roar of their motorcycles and the smell of gas on the patio wasn’t a good experience, probably we just weren’t lucky. The service was too slow, we had to wait for 20-25 minutes to get our check and we were in a rush to get to the ferry. The waitress was busy serving others while kinda ignoring us and the restaurant wasn’t too busy.
Great spot to grab a hearty meal! Stopped in for lunch on a rainy weekday and sat right down. Had our food 10 minutes later. Nothing fancy about the menu but the portions are huge - my hamburger was enormous! Clam chowder was also really good. There's a few TVs, a pool table, and darts. Great waterfront patio as well. Highly recommended if you're cruising up or down the 101! Olympic Otter
Great spot with a great patio view. We saw seals, birds & elk. The dressings and sauces are all house-made, and the ones we tried were delicious. The coconut shrimp was my favorite—crispy and flavorful. Relaxed vibe and worth a visit if you’re in the area.
Absolutely a great place. I will go again! Even bought an extra burger to bring home to my son that was HUGE!
The "Ty One On" Oyster Sandwich stands out, offering a burst of local flavor. The Blue Cheese Burger also receives high praise. Don't miss the Fresh Cut Fries and the delightful selection of local Oyster Shooters.
